Description

Artesunate Injection IP is an antimalarial medication used for the treatment of severe malaria, including Plasmodium falciparum infections. It acts by rapidly killing malaria parasites in the blood, making it the preferred choice for emergency malaria treatment.

Composition:

• Artesunate – 60 mg/120 mg (per vial)

Indications:

• Severe malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum

• Complicated malaria infections

• Treatment in cases where oral antimalarials cannot be administered

Dosage and Administration:
