Description

Cefuroxime 500mg + Clavulanic Acid 125mg Tablets combine the powerful action of a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic with a beta-lactamase inhibitor. This combination effectively treats a wide range of bacterial infections, including those caused by beta-lactamase-producing bacteria.

Composition & Mechanism of Action:

• Cefuroxime 500mg: A broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial cell death.
• Clavulanic Acid 125mg: A beta-lactamase inhibitor that prevents bacterial resistance, enhancing the efficacy of Cefuroxime.
