Description

Mupirocin 2% ointment is a topical antibiotic for treating bacterial skin infections. It works by inhibiting bacterial growth, effectively treating impetigo, folliculitis, and minor skin infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes.

Composition:

Each gram of ointment contains:

• Mupirocin USP 2% w/w – Topical Antibiotic

Uses/Indications:

• Treatment of impetigo (a contagious skin infection)
• Secondary skin infections (cuts, abrasions, minor wounds)
• Folliculitis (infected hair follicles)

Dosage and Administration:
